Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuums and mop I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line model is fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will clean its mopping pads more often if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.
It has a variety of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than other models.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process can take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your living space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. robot vacuums reviews was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to free itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that robot vacuums can't.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and put the debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from circulating. And its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously misting with water to capture dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding steps. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It gives an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they need to be emptied.
6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot is a slick job of keeping my office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home, so it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.
It also has some outstanding notable features, like an automatic emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room of your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to move around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also offers a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller areas. It's extremely fast and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take photos of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and are not linked to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
